“The matchup between LC and Glenwood is always high competition and brings a fun environment,” said Glenwood coach Jenn Schneider. “It's really hard to pick just one part of our game or one player that stands out to me on our team. They are all playing together and for the person next to them, which is spreading our success all around.”
Jenna Walters and Ayrianna Legband led a balanced attack with 11 kills each. Lily Lee and Addie Madison added 10 kills each.
Kayla Christian keyed the offense with 39 set assists while adding 18 digs on defense.
“Overall, I loved how our girls responded,” Schneider siad. “It can be hard to go into a set three after dropping the previous one and not necessarily having the momentum off of a win, but our girls never let that slow them down against LC to win, and then their energy carried into TJ to finish off a strong night.”
