Mary C. Jackson, 90, Glenwood

    Mary Catherine Jackson, a native of Glenwood, died Oct. 30, 2010, in Colorado Springs, Colo.  She was 90 years old.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Dean Jackson, also a Glenwood native, and she is survived by her sister Emma Elaine (Mayberry) Gilson of Glenwood, her brother Forrest McClelland Mayberry and his wife Jean, also of Glenwood, her sister Beth Ellen (Mayberry) Needham and her husband James, of Colorado Springs and by her sons, Robert Woods Jackson of Charlottesville, Va., and Mark Richard Jackson of Colorado Springs.  Plans for a memorial event to take place in Glenwood are ongoing.  Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Glenwood Public Library, 109 N. Vine Street, Glenwood, Iowa 51534.
