Jennings runs wild in Wolverine win
Colby Jennings rushed for a career high 236 yards and East Mills got its first victory of the season with a 28-7 win over Shenandoah on Friday.
The Wolverines led 22-0 after the first quarter and cruised to victory behind Jennings’ career night. The senior carried the ball 25 times, scored on a 99 yard touchdown and added a 62- yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter on defense, where he recorded seven tackles.
Josh Hopkins added 60 yards and a touchdown rushing for East Mills.
For the game the Wolverines averaged 7.2 yards per carry while piling up 344 yards on the ground.
Michael Story wrapped up 12 tackles and a sack on defense and Gabe Barney recovered a fumble for a touchdown.
