William H. Lundy, Jr., 54, Pacific Junction
William Henry Lundy, Jr., age 54, of Pacific Junction, died March 19, 2009, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Pastor Mike Stevens officiated. Interment was in the Martin Chapel, Pacific Junction.
Mr. Lundy was born Dec. 8, 1954, in Newport, R.I., to William and Polsinia (Garcia) Lundy, Sr. He was self-employed as a carpenter and was a talented machinist working on many Harley Davidson motorcycles throughout the years. He was definitely a Harley fanatic and thoroughly loved going riding with his friends whenever possible. He enjoyed playing dice and cards and was a talented musician, playing the guitar, as well as the harmonica. He, along with his friends, recorded a CD, which he dedicated to his brother, David. He enjoyed camping with family and friends and in his younger years, he enjoyed hunting. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceding Mr. Lundy in death was his brother, David Lundy in 2005. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Lynn and husband John Petersen of Omaha; parents, William Henry and Polsinia Lundy, Sr. of St. Cloud, Fla.; sisters, Debbie Lundy of Council Bluffs; Lorrie Hansen of Kissimmee, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and a host of friends. A memorial fund has been established.
