Sunday Shooting In Glenwood

At least three people were injured in a physical altercation that led to gunfire early Sunday evening in a residential area of Glenwood. The incident occurred on Third Street, between Hazel and Myrtle.

Glenwood Police Chief Eric Johansen said one person was injured by gunfire and transported to a metro-area hospital. Johansen said officers are in the preliminary stages of their investigation into the incident, which occurred around 6 p.m. Johansen said the person believed to be responsible for firing the gun is among the three people hospitalized. Additional information will be released as the investigation continues and more witnesses are interviewed.
