Rams roll to title at Red Oak Invitational

Glenwood’s Jaylynn Floyd helped the Rams to a gold medal in the shuttle hurdle relay at Red Oak Thursday.
RED OAK - The Glenwood girls ran away with the team title at the Red Oak Inviational Track Meet Thursday at Dick Morrison Track.
The Rams racked up 214 points behind wins in 10 events. Clarinda was a distant second with 113 points.
Danika Arnold (100-meters), Gracy Mullanix (200), Grace Berglund (1,500), Megan Hughes (100 and 400-meter hurdles) all picked up individual gold medals.
The Rams’ snagged relay golds from its 4x100, 4x400, 4x800, sprint medley and shuttle hurdle relays.
Glenwood placed in the top three in 17 of the 18 events in Red Oak.

win SB-L relays
The Glenwood girls went on the road and picked up the team title at the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Co-ed Relays last Tuesday.
The Rams won four events and placed second in four others while racking up 108 points to top the field. LeMars was a distant second with 56 points.
Danika Arnold led the Rams with a pair of gold medals in the 100 and 400-meters while Jaylynn Floyd won the high jump.
Glenwood added a relay win with Breckyn Petersen, Grace Berglund, Maya Schau and Lauren Hughes teaming up to run a 10:52.73 to win the 4x800.
