Lundvall Ends High School Career At State Tournament
Glenwood senior Emily Lundvall ended her high school wrestling career at the Iowa Girls State Wrestling Tournament in Coralville on Thursday.
Wrestling in the 115-pound weight class, Lundvall dropped a 6-4 decision to Cameryn Judisch of Sumner-Fredericksburg in the opening round of competition, but responded in the consolation bracket by pinning Sophia Pollard of Urbandale in 1:52.
Lundvall’s run at state ended with a close 7-6 loss to Cora Schut of Sioux Central in the second round of consolation matches.
Lundvall ended her senior season with a 31-11 record.
