Knights blank Sidney 15-0


Fremont-Mills’ Gavin Crom walked and scored a run in the Knights’ 15-0 victory over Sidney Friday.

Evan Laumann was dominated on the mound for Fremont-Mills in a 15-0 victory over Sidney in Corner Conference baseball Friday.

Laumann pitched all four innings, allowing one hit and striking out seven in a 53-pitch performance to earn the win.

Sam Sanchez had two hits and drove in a run and Landon Morse singled and drove in two runs. Carter Rycroft added two hits and scored three runs. 

Cooper Hagen, the East Mills senior, took the loss for Sidney after allowing two hits and three earned runs in 1 and 2/3 innings worked.

Gabe Blanton had Sidney’s lone hit.

 

Fremont-Mills 12,

Bedford 7 

Fremont-Mills scored five runs in the sixth inning to pull away from Bedford in a 12-7 victory in Corner Conference baseball Thursday in Tabor.

Evan Laumann had three hits and drove in five runs to lead the Knights at the plate. Rowen Howe picked up the win after tossing five hits and five earned runs while helping his cause at the plate with a single, a walk and two RBIs.

Nolan Drake took the loss on the hill. The sophomore allowed seven hits and seven earned runs. Quentin Dalton had three hits and drove in a run for Bedford. 

 

AHSTW 17,

Fremont-Mills 5

AHSTW downed Fremont-Mills 17-5 in nonconference baseball last Wednesday.

The Knights struggled to get the Vikings out, committing three errors on defense leading to 12 unearned runs while giving away nine walks and seven hit-by-pitches in the loss.

Chance Carver took the loss for the Knights after allowing one hit and six unearned runs in 1/3 of an inning.

Camdyn Dresen picked up the win on the mound tossing four innings and allowing five hits and five earned runs while striking out five. He also went 2-for-2 at the plate while driving in two runs.

Rhett Lemonds had two hits and Colin Norse and Sam Sanchez each notched a hit and drove in a run for Fremont-Mills.

 

CAM 17,

Fremont-Mills 7

CAM smacked 13 hits in a 17-7 win over Fremont-Mills in Corner Conference baseball last Tuesday.

The Cougars’ Zach Kauffman had three hits and drove in a run and Kason Calhoun and Kayden Winther drove in three runs each.

Broden Zimmerman took the loss for the Knights on the mound.

Colin Morse had three hits and Evan Laumann two to lead Fremont-Mills.

 

Fremont-Mills 7,

Griswold 3

Fremont-Mills plated five runs in the seventh inning to rally for a 7-3 win over Griswold in Corner Conference baseball in Griswold last Monday.

The Knights collected 12 hits in the victory.

Sam Sanchez was 3-for-4 with two runs driven in and Evan Laumann had two hits and two RBIs.

Laumann notched the win on the hill for the Knights after pitching a scoreless 1 and 1/3 innings.

Kolbe Klindt was credited with the loss/ The senior scattered nine hits and four earned runs while striking out five.

Brayden Lockwood, Calden Turner and Klindt had two hits each for the Tigers.
