Ronald Fickel, 73, Malvern

    Ronald Fickel, age 73, of Malvern, died Jan. 28, 2011, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at Mansfield-Hertz Funeral Home in Malvern with interment in Malvern Cemetery. Memorials suggested to Malvern Volunteer Fire Dept. or Malvern Volunteer Rescue.
    He is survived by his children, Teri Bruster and husband Eric of Bettendorf; Deb Weiland and husband Monte of Des Moines; Ron Fickel and wife Karen of Hartland, Wis.; and Wendy Fickel of Des Moines; sisters, Arlene Hilton of Malvern; Betty Stribling of Shenandoah; and Rose Marie Shaw of Red Oak; 11 grandchildren and other relatives.
