Ervin W. Kahl, 87, of Glenwood, died Aug. 8, 2012, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs. Private services will be at the Mineola Cemetery at a later date. Cremation services were handled by Chapel of Memories of Omaha, Neb.
Ervin was born Oct. 7, 1924, in Mills County to Edward and Carrie (Roenfeld) Kahl. He is survived by his brothers, Robert, Harold and Donald and sister, Wilma Lorimor.
