Gladys F. Bowen, 78, Imogene

Gladys Frances Bowen, 78, of Imogene, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in a car accident in rural Montgomery County. A celebration of life service for Gladys will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at the Faith Community Church in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Emerson Cemetery. Visitation with the family was held Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Memorials for Gladys are suggested to the Oaks Community Church.
    Gladys was born Dec. 11, 1933, in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of John Harry and Louise (Brandt) Trautman.  
    Gladys is survived by her husband: Loyd Bowen of Imogene; children: Ron Bowen of Imogene; Luann Hughbanks of Council Bluffs; Carol Bowen of Malvern; and Suzanne Lees of Walnut; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Hill of Phoenix, Ariz.
