A dozen Knights score in 89-23 rout

    Fremont-Mills had 12 different players score in an 89-23 victory over Heartland Christian last Tuesday.
    Fremont-Mills led 26-8 after a quarter and 51-14 at halftime.
    The Knights' Corey Morrical led the way with 16 points and Jace Kemp added 14. Logan Wood chipped in with 10 points while Chase McCollum and A.J. Scarborough added eight points each.
    Zach Nichols led Heartland Christian with 15 points.

    The Fremont-Mills boys basketball team erased an eight point Underwood lead with a 25-7 fourth quarter run in a 52-42, come-from-behind victory last Tuesday.
    The Knights (2-1) got 14 points from Corey Morrical and 12 each from Nick Williams and Clayton Wilson in the win. Williams also dished out five assists, grabbed nine rebounds and swiped three steals.
    Nate Meier had six points and 11 rebounds off the bench for the Knights.
    The Knights shot just 34.5 percent (19-of-55) from the field and 0-of-14 on their three-point attempts but made up for it with efficient passing and ball movement, recording assists on 16 of 19 made field goals.
    Austin Konsor led Underwood with a game-high 20 points.
