Public Reception Scheduled For Glenwood City Administrator Candidates
The City of Glenwood is hosting a public reception for the four finalists for its city administrator position on Friday, Nov. 8, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Glenwood City Hall, 5 North Vine Street.
The following four individuals are finalists for the position:
Brian Keller is employed with the State of Nebraska Auditor’s office. He is the former City Administrator of Sedgwick, Kansas, and worked for the State of Kansas for 16 years in tax and revenue positions. He holds a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration degree with Concentration in Accounting from Emporia State University in Kansas.
Mitchell Kolf is Budget Manager for Maricopa County, Arizona, and has been employed there for 7 ½ years. Previously, he served as Finance Director/Treasurer for the City of Kechi, Kansas. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Northern Iowa.
Brittany Rockwell is a Regional Director for U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst. Her previous experience has included service with the U.S. Army and Army Reserves as a Paralegal and a Finance Non-Commissioned Officer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Iowa State University.
Chase Waggoner is the former City Administrator of Plattsburg, Mo. His prior background includes previous service as a City Administrator/Manager in two other communities and professional background in fire, emergency management, and emergency medical services. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree with Concentration in Human Resources Management from Louisiana State University.
The candidates will interview with elected officials from the city and other invited participants on Saturday, Nov. 9. The selected candidate will replace Amber Farnan, who is resigning from the post. Farnan was expected to be elected to the position of Mills County Auditor in Tuesday's general election.
