Missouri Journalism Student Excited For Internship At Her Hometown Newspaper

I’m excited to share that this summer I will be working as an intern for The Opinion-Tribune.

You will be seeing some pieces of my writing in this paper and may find me around asking for interviews or taking photos.

I’m a proud 2024 graduate of Glenwood Community High School and a current student at the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. Along with my journalism studies, I am pursuing minors in Spanish and peace studies. Writing and reporting are passions of mine, and I can’t wait to gain some experience in our community.

I’ve grown up in Glenwood and had the opportunity to be very involved over the years. I participated in the arts and was a student-athlete, along with being a 4H member. I am grateful for my deep ties to this community and hope to get to know it even better through my reporting.
