Annual Chamber Banquet Set For Nov. 7

The Mills County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual awards banquet at The Fountains Ballroom on Thursday, Nov. 7.

The event will bring together community leaders, business owners, and community members to celebrate the achievements and contributions of individuals and organizations that make Mills County a vibrant and thriving community.

The banquet is a highlight of the year for the chamber, providing an opportunity to recognize outstanding individuals and groups through several awards, including:

* Citizen of the Year.

* Junior Citizen of the Year.

* Educator of the Year (East Mills and Glenwood).

* Customer Service of the Year.

* Community Spirit Award.

* Club/Organization of the Year.

Members of the community  are encouraged to submit nominations for these awards to honor the people and organizations that go above and beyond in making Mills County an incredible place to live, work and grow.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, Oct. 24.

On the night of the banquet, doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for a cocktail hour, followed by dinner and the awards program beginning at 7 p.m.

Organizers say this year’s banquet promises to be an evening filled with celebration, recognition and community spirit.

“We are proud to host this annual event to honor the individuals and groups that contribute so much to our community,” said Gitzy Loder, Executive Director of the Mills County Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate their achievements and recognize the impact they have on our county.”
