Mills County Vaccination Rate On Par With SW Iowa

As of Monday, 6,147 Mills County residents (41.1 percent) had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 5,747 residents (38.42 percent) were fully vaccinated.
The Mills County numbers are significantly lower than the statewide percentage but similar to other counties in southwest Iowa. Statewide, 51.6 percent of Iowans have received one dose of the vaccine and 48.01 percent are fully vaccinated.
In Fremont County, 2,643 residents (37.93 percent) had received one dose and 2,519 residents (36.15 percent) were fully vaccinated.

Montgomery County - One dose: 4,515 (44.46 percent); fully vaccinated: 4,236 (41.71 percent).
Pottawattamie County - One dose: 39,182 (41.9 percent); fully vaccinated: 36,083 (38.59 percent).
Page County - One dose: 6,608 (43.12 percent); fully vaccinated: 6,154 (40.06 percent).
Cass County - One dose: 6,216 (47.12 percent); fully vaccinated: 5,938 (45.02 percent).
