    Kathryn Rebecca Hatten, 96, of Malvern, died July 4, 2012, at the Hillside Village in De Soto, Kan. Funeral services were held Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Malvern, with interment in the Malvern Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
    She was born Sept. 30, 1915, to Leah Pearl (Campbell) and Ray Arthur Hatfield on a farm near Hastings.
    Kathryn is survived by her sons, Danny Hatten of Amarillo, Texas, and David Hatten of Lincoln, Neb.; daughter Mary Sayers of De Soto.; 18 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
