Jake Warren Taenzler, 82, Glenwood

    Jacob Warren “Jake” Taenzler, 82, of Glenwood, died July 16, 2012, in Bellevue, Neb. Celebration of life services were Friday, July 20, 2012, at First Christian Church in Glenwood. Rev. Evan Welcher officiated. Interment will be held in the Glenwood Cemetery at a later date. Peterson Mortuary of Glenwood was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Glenwood Fire Dept., Boy Scouts, Glenwood Public Library or the First Christian Church.
    Jake was born April 23, 1930, in Humeston, to Rev. Jacob Warren and Mary Wilhemena (Heer) Taenzler.
    Jake is survived by his wife, Barbara Taenzler of Glenwood; children, Christine Jo Krecklow of Humboldt; Jeffrey Warren Taenzler of San Antonio, Texas; John Jacob Taenzler of Audubon, Pa.; Susan Barbara Bolan of Grand Island, Neb.; eight grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Harold of Glenwood: Margaret Hart of Atlantic; and Julie Schneckloth of Bellevue.
