Glenwood Community High School Large Group Speech Students Earn State Honors

Glenwood Community High School finished its large group speech season at the state contest held Feb. 5 at Valley High School in West Des Moines.
Two groups received straight Division 1 ratings at the contest, Those groups were:
Radio Broadcasting - Cole Lewis, Jessica Herron, Ashley Weinburgh and Anna Lunning
Musical Theater - Harbour Buchanan, Shannon Marley, Aubrey Mullanix, Josh Nieman, Alex McQueen and Aaron McQueen.
Receiving a Division II rating was the Choral Reading group. Members are Audrey Zielstra, Harbour Buchanan, Lauren Culp, Molly Killion, Katelyn Christensen, Trey Stanley and Ian Lorson.
The students are coached by Jeff DeYoung, Heather Lewis and Kevin Kilpatrick.
