Gerald D. Flowers, 48, Malvern

Gerald Douglas Flowers, age 48, of Malvern, formerly of Rockford, Ill., and Glenwood, died March 2, 2009, at the Manor of Malvern. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood with Pastor Steve Frazee officiating. Interment was in the Waubonsie Cemetery, south of Glenwood.

Mr. Flowers was born May 5, 1960, in Merced, Calif. to Virgil Nathan and Helen Elizabeth (Andrews) Flowers. He always enjoyed putting models together and was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents. He is survived by his brothers, Ron Flowers of Nob Noster, Ill.; Don Flowers of Rockford, Ill.; sister, Cindi Seale of Glenwood; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
