Fremont-Mills rushes for 404 yards in 54-12 district victory
Fremont-Mills scored on it’s first three possessions while its defense held Stanton to just 28 total yards in the first quarter of a 54-12 victory on Friday in Eight-Man, District 8 football.
The Knights (5-0 overall, 3-0 in the district) dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball rushing for a season-high 404 yards. Alex Tobin had his first career 100-yard game finishing with 125 yards on just five carries, two of which went for touchdowns. Dylan Collins added 90 yards and a score and Clayton Wilson finished with 75 yards and three touchdowns.
The Knight defense limited Stanton to 104 total yards and forced three turnovers.
Seth Phillips led the Fremont-Mills defense with 11 tackles and a tackle for loss.
