Fern L. Swisher, 89, Tabor

Fern L. Swisher, age 89, of Tabor, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, following an extended illness.  Funeral services were held Friday, April 2, 2010, at the Tabor Church of the Nazarene and interment was in the Tabor Cemetery.

    Mrs. Swisher is survived by two daughters, Barbara Worcester and husband Leonard; and Marcella Gray and husband Allen all of Tabor; two sons, Sam Swisher of Oshkosh, Neb.; and Wayne Swisher and wife Penny of Bartlett, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Boles; and brother Wayne Keith, both of Glenwood; daughter-in-law, Billie Swisher of Anchor Point, Alaska; numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.    

    Memorials will go to the Tabor Church of the Nazarene or the Tabor Manor.  The Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor was in charge of arrangements.
