Eleanor Kay Marts, 68, Glenwood

Eleanor Kay Marts, 68, of Glenwood, entered into eternal rest on July 3, 2010 in Council Bluffs. Services were held Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. Pastor Darrell Hopp officiated. Interment was in the Glenwood Cemetery.

    She was born on Feb. 18, 1942 in Nampa, Idaho, to Harry Fay and Ices Irene (Moss) Westlake. Kay was employed with the Glenwood Resource Center as a resident treatment worker until her retirement. She enjoyed doing puzzles, watching her favorite television programs and being with her family. Kay fondly remembered each of her family member’s birthdays and she could tell you special events and famous people who shared in that special day as well. She will be deeply missed by her family and to those whose lives she touched.

    Preceding Kay in death were her parents; step-son, Robbie Marts; and six siblings. She is survived by her children, Brenda Renee and husband Mark Bair of Glenwood; Randy and wife Allison Marts of Sequatchie, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Atwood, Addison Atwood, Ryan Marts and Riley Marts; step-children, Ralph Marts of Gillette, Wyo.; Patty Sloan of Lima, Mont.; siblings, Gloria Fox of New Castle, Wyo.; Joan Ayers of Boise, Idaho; Shirley Mason of Ohio; Tom Westlake of Texas; extended relatives and a host of friends.

    Memorials may be made to the Glenwood Fire & Rescue.
