Eileen J. Walpus, 47, Glenwood

    Eileen Jane Walpus, 47, of Glenwood, formerly of Omaha, Neb., passed away Dec. 1, 2011, at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Holy Rosary Church in Glenwood. Interment was in the Glenwood Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood was in charge of arrangements.
    Eileen was born Aug. 24, 1964, in Lincoln, Neb., to Fredrick and Dorothy June (Wagner) Tilson.
    Preceding Eileen in death were her grandparents and father. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Tilson of Ralston, Neb.; children, Kyle Timothy Walpus and Katie Meurrens; and Raven Lynne Walpus and Anthony Van Stratten, all of Omaha; significant other, Kevin Harmon of Glenwood; two grandchildren; siblings, Lorrie and Jeff Painter of Omaha; Helen Culver of Ralston, Neb.; Debra and Rich Lyman of Centennial, Colo.; Rickie Tilson; Terry Tilson of Plattsmouth, Neb.; Holly Tilson and Marcy Tilson, both of Rochester, N.Y.
