Dr. Fernwood D. Hackett, 91, Florida

    Dr. Fernwood Devon “Bud” Hackett, 91, of Okeechobee, Fla., passed away Dec. 27, 2011, at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee. Memorial services were held Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home. Interment of cremains will be at Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Leiters Ford, Ind. All arrangements were handled by Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Crematory.
    Dr. Hackett was born Aug. 30, 1920, in North Judson, Ind., to Lawrence Brown Hackett and Chloe Catherine Barger.
    Dr. Hackett is survived by his four children, Larry Hackett of Okeechobee; Pamela Manning of Glenwood; Deborah Williams of Holly Springs, N.C., and Terry Hackett of Suwannee, Ga.;  seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
