Dorothy Wicker, 89, Glenwood

    Dorothy (Mings) Wicker, age 89, of Glenwood, died Feb. 16, 2011, at the Hospice with Heart House in Glenwood.  Dorothy is survived by her children, Marilyn Fender and husband Larry of Pacific Junction; Kenneth Wicker and wife Sally of Canadian, Texas; Patrick Wicker and wife Wanda of Callao, Mo.; and David Wicker of Omaha, Neb.; sister Velma O’Brien of Grand Island, Neb.; brother Duane “Pete” Mings of Higgins, Texas; 20 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren.
    Memorial services were held Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at the Hertz Funeral Home in Glenwood.  Interment at the Hillside Cemetery in Elliott, was held Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
