Charlotte L. Dunkin, 83, Red Oak

    Charlotte Lorraine (Bomer) Dunkin, 83, of Red Oak, died Aug. 2, 2012, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Clarinda with burial in the Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Charlotte Dunkin Memorial Fund. Walker-Merrick Funeral Home of Clarinda was in charge of arrangements.
    Charlotte was born March 30, 1929, in Burlington, to Elmer and Alice (Julius) Bomer.
    Charlotte is survived by her daughters: Barbara Wingerd of Glenwood; Kathy Clark of Villisca; Joyce Howrey of Glenwood; Jona Nelson of Villisca; and Robin Strand of Red Oak; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
