Carl W. Scott, 95, Red Oak

    Carl W. Scott, age 95, of Red Oak, formerly of Malvern and Hastings, died Dec. 27, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center in Red Oak. Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church in Red Oak with burial in North Grove Cemetery, rural Hastings. Visitation is today, Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the church in Red Oak, from 5 to 7 p.m.  Memorials are suggested to Red Oak First United Methodist Church or North Grove Cemetery. 
    He is survived by his daughter, Lavonne Doran and husband David of Elbert, Colo.; sister, Irene Parker of Red Oak; brother Kenneth Scott of Malvern; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
