The Glenwood City Council moved one step closer to building an outdoor aquatic center during a special meeting Monday night at City Hall.
The Glenwood girls and boys soccer teams placed five on the All-Hawkeye 10 Conference soccer team released last week.
The Glenwood baseball team won one and dropped one as a host site for the Battle of the Bluffs Baseball Tournament Saturday.
Sioux City East plated four runs in the first and six more in the sixth in a 10-0 shutout of Glenwood in non-conference softball last Wednesday.
The Glenwood Community School District is participating in the Summer Food Service Program.
