The East Mills boys basketball team won their second straight game in convincing fashion to open the season with a 65-41 victory over Nishnabotna on Friday.
The Glenwood girls sprinted out to a 26-0 first quarter lead and never looked back in a 71-29 Hawkeye 10 Conference victory over Atlantic on Friday.
Jesse Bendt reached the finals and the Glenwood wrestling team placed eighth at the Dan Hill Invitational in Harlan Saturday.
