The Glenwood boys track team was able to make history and re-write the Glenwood track record books at the 101st running of the Drake Relays last weekend in Des Moines.

The Glenwood boys soccer team improved to 8-1 on the season and 7-0 all time at Creighton University’s Morrison Stadium with a 1-0 victory over Harlan last Tuesday.
The Glenwood girls tennis team crushed Corning 9-0 in a non-conference dual last Thursday.
The Glenwood boys tennis team traveled to Harlan on Friday and came away with a 7-2 Hawkeye 10 Conference victory over the Cyclones.
Clarence L. Schmidt, 83, of Olpe, Kan., passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011, at his home. The Mass of Christian Burial was held April 11, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Gene Simmons, 64, of Lodi, Calif., passed away suddenly April 15, 2011. There was a Celebration of Gene’s life on Friday, April 22, 2011, at the Eagles Lodge.
