Albert L. Dorsett, 77, Glenwood

Albert L. Dorsett, 77, of Glenwood, passed away Sept. 28, 2011, at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colo. Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring in Council Bluffs with Rev. Joe Harder officiating. Interment was in the Crescent Cemetery with full military honors.
    Albert was born Sept. 12, 1934, in Council Bluffs, to the late John W. and Ethel (Lukehart) Dorsett.
    Albert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole Dorsett, of Glenwood; daughters, Susan McSorley and Brenda Floyd, both of Council Bluffs; sons, Albert Dorsett II, of Elbert, Colo., John Dorsett, of Council Bluffs, and Mark Dorsett, of Gulfport, Miss.; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Robbins, of Riverside, Calif., Mary Suntken, of Flemington, Mo., and Doris Harrison, of Perris, Calif.; brothers, Dan Dorsett, of Loveland, Colo., Jim Dorsett, of Garfield, Ark., and Harvey Dorsett, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
