Mills County Comprehensive Plan To Be Discussed At Public Meetings
Four public informational meetings will take place during the month of March as Mills County kicks off the planning process for the development of a new comprehensive plan for unincorporated areas in the county.
The comprehensive plan will address demographics, land use, housing, commercial and industrial development and renewable energy.
Residents are encouraged to attend one or more of the public workshops to provide their insight and vision for the future of Mills County. Each public workshop will include a presentation with an overview of the planning process and a series of engagement exercises to help gain feedback for the plan.
The public workshops are scheduled for the following dates:
Monday, March 6, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., at the Malvern Public Library.
Monday, March 13, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., at the Indian Creek Museum (Emerson).
Wednesday, March 15, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., at the Mills County Annex (403 Railroad Ave., Glenwood).
Thursday, Friday, March 16, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., at Tobey Jack’s Mineola Steakhouse.
