It's An Early Homecoming In Glenwood

Tuffy The Ram rides in the 2021 Glenwood Homecoming Parade.

This year’s Glenwood Homecoming celebration is earlier than normal - due to a quirk in the Rams’ football schedule - but that won’t diminish the excitement of the annual celebration that will bring hundreds of Glenwood Community High School alumni and visitors to town this weekend.

Highlights of the weekend will include the annual homecoming parade Friday afternoon on Town Square,  Friday night’s homecoming football game against Council Bluffs Abraham Lincoln and Saturday night’s coronation of the 2022 GCHS Homecoming king and queen.

Several class reunions and other homecoming activities are planned throughout the weekend. A list of homecoming activities is published in this week's edition of The Opinion-Tribune.
