Indian Creek Museum: Iowa Hand Cornhusking Championship, Junkfest, and Kids Zone Entertainment

Indian Creek Museum is again sponsoring the Iowa State Hand Cornhusking Championship on Sat. - Sept. 14, 2019. The participants pull corn and husk it throwing the completed corn into horse drawn wagons. The husking will continue thru the day. 
In addition to the championship, there will also be on the museum grounds a junk fest with over 40 vendors; a kid’s zone with face painting, bounce houses, games, and lawnmower cart train for rides; food trucks; horse buggy rides and blacksmith and working farm equipment demos. Museum building will also be open, during the activities. 
Best of all, all activities are Free.
Indian Creek Museum is located 15 miles east of Glenwood, Iowa on 34, at the corner of 380th Street.
