Annual Mills County Relay For Life Saturday in Glenwood

The 21st annual Mills County Relay For Life will take place Saturday at Glenwood Lake Park and the Davies Amphitheater.

The event, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, is a tribute to cancer survivors and those who have lost their lives to the disease.

Entertainment will be taking place on the Davies Amphitheater stage throughout the celebration, which begins at 4 p.m. with opening ceremonies and concludes with a fireworks show at 10 p.m. A silent auction is planned and local food vendors will be on hand throughout the event.

4 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies.
4:30 p.m. - Vocals by Allee Rounds, Kate Smithers and Sydney Major.
5 p.m. - Team Parade.
5:30 p.m. - To Be Announced.
6 p.m. - Sponsorship Recognition.
6:30 p.m. - Brandee’s Dance students.
7 p.m. - Renee Coffey piano students.
7:30 p.m. - Survivor ceremony.
8 p.m. - Shawn Koehler.
8:30 p.m. - Circle of Friends.
9 p.m. - Tim Jacob, a survivor’s story. Luminary ceremony.
9:30 p.m. - Closing Ceremony (Fight Back); Craig Florian as Elvis.
10 p.m. - Fireworks by Night Vision.
